The tree is characterized by weak to medium vigor, forming a dome-shaped or conical, often weeping crown. The foliage has a greenish-yellow hue. The fruits are small or medium in size, with a spherical or flattened shape. The skin is yellow, decorated with a red blush.

The variety is characterized as late. It possesses partial resistance to scab, but is susceptible to fire blight and canker. Yield varies from medium to high. When grown on a dwarfing rootstock, it may require training, in particular the espalier method, and also needs good lighting.
