The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and forms a spreading, rounded crown. The fruits are small to medium in size and have an elongated-conical shape with a ribbed apex. The skin is golden-yellow in color with a red blush and characteristic net-like russeting.

The variety is mid-late, with harvest taking place in mid-October. Productivity is average, with a tendency toward biennial bearing. The plant is hardy but demanding in terms of soil fertility and moisture.

The variety is diploid and self-sterile, requiring pollinators for fruit set. It is used primarily in blends for cider production due to the balanced combination of sweetness and bitterness from the tannins.
