The variety has a long history of distribution in the north of France and Belgium, where it was traditionally grown in the form of high-stem trees. The tree possesses good growth vigor and vitality, however, it is characterized by alternate bearing.

The fruits have a spherical shape and yellowish, aromatic flesh with a sweet and sour taste. Harvesting is carried out in the period from September to December. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, culinary processing, and juice production.
