The variety was obtained as a result of breeding work by crossing the forms (Golden Delicious × Golden Delicious) × (X2042 × Reinette Clochard). The tree is of moderate vigor, reaches a height of about 4 meters, and possesses good crown architecture and winter hardiness down to -20°C...-25°C.

Fruits are medium-sized, golden-yellow with a pinkish blush, distinguished by juicy, crisp flesh and store for up to 3–4 months under refrigerated conditions. The harvest ripens in the second ten-day period of September, approximately one week before the harvest of Golden Delicious fruits.

The plant is not self-fertile and requires the presence of pollinator varieties such as Ariane or Reine des Reinettes. The variety possesses genetic resistance to races of apple scab, due to the presence of the Rvi6/Vf gene.
