The variety is a product of crossing Orange Pippin and Golden Pippin. The fruits have a round or round-conical shape, their skin is colored yellow-gold and may contain russet dots. The firm, crisp flesh is characterized by a sweet taste with a slight acidity.

The tree is noted for moderate vigor and forms an upright-spreading crown. The variety is self-incompatible and requires pollinators. Fruits ripen in mid-September and are suitable for consumption until November; they are suitable for dessert use, culinary purposes, and cider production.
