The fruits reach maturity from the end of June. Their shelf life is very short; consumption in fresh form or culinary processing within a few days or weeks after harvest is recommended.

Trees of this variety, which is diploid, are not suitable for espalier cultivation and are found mainly in small or collection gardens. The variety is included in the apple genetic bank under number FS 0459.
