The variety was obtained in 1991 as a result of crossing the Florina and A 814/9 varieties. The trees are characterized by moderate growth vigor and form widely spreading, medium-density crowns. The variety enters fruiting early; yields are high and regular, however, it is sensitive to drought and requires irrigation in dry regions.
Harvest maturity occurs in mid-September, the fruits are suitable for long-term storage. The fruits are above average in size, have cream-colored juicy flesh and a sweet-and-sour taste. The fruit surface is greenish-yellow with a bright red striped-spotted blush covering 50 to 75% of the area.
