The tree is vigorous, forming a spherical crown, with a semi-spur fruiting type. The variety is diploid and self-incompatible.

Fruits are medium-sized, round-conical, yellow with an intense red blush and small lenticels. The flesh is cream-colored, juicy, fine-grained, with a distinct flavor and aroma. The variety is suitable for storage for up to three months.

The variety is resistant to scab but susceptible to fire blight. The fruits hold well on branches after ripening. It is used as a dessert variety for fresh consumption and as genetic material for breeding.
