Variety description

The variety is a clone of the Fuji variety, selected at the Sad-Gigant agricultural firm. The tree has an oval or broadly pyramidal crown of medium density and is characterized by above-average or medium vigor. The variety is precocious, shows a tendency toward biennial bearing, and is adapted to hot climate conditions.

Fruits are large or above-average in size, oblong-round, with a light green ground color and a bright orange-red striped blush. The flesh is creamy white, very firm, crunchy, fine-grained, and juicy. The produce is distinguished by high transportability and keeping quality until May when stored in a refrigerator.

The variety shows high drought tolerance and is practically resistant to powdery mildew, but it is sensitive to fire blight and has susceptibility to scab. Winter hardiness is assessed as below average; frost damage is possible at low temperatures.
