The tree grows vigorously in its youth; an adult plant has a medium-sized broad-pyramidal crown with thin, drooping branches. The variety is suitable for forming high-stem and half-stem shapes.

The fruits are medium to large in size, often ribbed, and have a characteristic elongated conical or ovoid shape. The skin is lemon-yellow, sometimes with an orange-red blush. The flesh is yellowish-white, fine-grained, aromatic, and juicy.

The variety is a winter type; harvesting begins in mid-October, and consumer maturity is reached after storage. The fruits keep until March-April. The variety is demanding of warmth and protection from wind, and is sensitive to a number of diseases, including fire blight and rust.
