The tree has moderate vigor, reaching a height of 2 to 4 meters. The crown forms a tall-spherical or pyramidal shape and is sparse. The variety enters into bearing late; yield is assessed as moderate.

Fruits are medium-sized or large, truncate-conical with characteristic ribs. The skin is thin but firm, lemon-yellow in color, sometimes with a slight blush. The flesh is yellowish, tender and juicy, possessing a sweet taste with slight acidity and a spicy aroma.

The variety belongs to the autumn-winter group, as fruits can be stored until December. The tree is demanding of growing conditions, requiring wind-protected sites, humid air, and moist soil. In unfavorable years, it is susceptible to scab, and fruits are weakly attached to branches at maturity.
