The variety is a tree with moderate vigor, the height of which depends on the rootstock type. Fruits are small to medium in size, conical in shape, have cream-white fine-grained flesh and yellow-green skin with a red blush and stripes.

The variety is classified as early, with harvest dates falling in the period from late July to mid-August, with uneven fruit ripening. When overripe, there is a tendency for fruit drop; in rainy years, the fruits may crack.

The plant has good resistance to scab and powdery mildew. Regarding pollination, data varies: the variety is characterized as either self-fertile or requiring the presence of pollination trees from group 2. The variety is demanding in terms of pruning and requires sites protected from cold winds.
