The variety is a summer type, characterized by medium vigor and the ability to form a beautiful crown. The height of a mature tree depends on the rootstock used and is typically at least 4–5 meters.

The fruits are described as aromatic, juicy, and sweet, suitable for table use. During the ripening process, the apple skin acquires a yellow-red hue, and the flesh can become translucent. The variety is also known by the Finnish name Gerbyn Aikainen.
