The Gris Torriana variety, also known as Renetta Grigia di Torriana, is a local indigenous variety from the commune of Barge in Italy. The tree has moderate or medium-strong vigor and bears fruit primarily on thin fruit-bearing twigs. The harvest ripens in the first or second ten-day period of October.

The fruits are of medium size, have a slightly flattened shape, and characteristic russeted skin. The light cream-colored grainy flesh has a sweet taste with a slight acidity and an amaretto aftertaste. The variety is resistant to frost, scab, bitter pit, and woolly apple aphid; the fruits store for up to 3 months.
