The fruits of the variety have a truncated-conical shape with characteristic ribbing and reach a medium or large size. The apple stem is short, and the overall appearance of the fruit is described as unattractive.

The variety is a product of folk selection and is distributed in the provinces of Cuneo and Turin. At present, the main value of the variety lies in the preservation of the genetic heritage of the region, while detailed agronomic characteristics and data on industrial use are absent.
