The fruits of this variety are about 73 mm in height and width, their shape is often elongated, egg-shaped or cylindrical, strongly ribbed, and pentagonal in cross-section. The matte skin becomes oily over time; the ground color is pale green or yellowish with a bright carmine-red blush and possible dark stripes.

The fruit flesh is pale yellowish-white, delicate, soft, and moderately juicy. The taste is characterized as subtle and aromatic, with a distinct raspberry note. The variety is versatile and used as a dessert and culinary apple.

The variety belongs to the group of early autumn varieties with a consumption period from late September to November. The variety was first described by German pomologist Diel in 1802, and the name "raspberry apple" in Denmark is a collective term for several varieties.
