The tree is vigorous, forming a wide and densely branched crown, the height of which depends on the rootstock and growing conditions. The variety is triploid and therefore requires the presence of pollinator varieties. It develops best in a cool, humid climate and is not recommended for hot regions.

Fruits are medium to large in size, with somewhat rough yellow-green skin and a red-orange blush. The light cream flesh has a firm, coarse-grained structure. The taste is juicy, sweet and sour, spicy, with a characteristic aroma. Harvest maturity occurs in mid-to-late September, consumer maturity from October, and the fruits can be stored until December.

The variety possesses good resistance to scab, but may show susceptibility to powdery mildew and fruit tree canker on heavy soils. It is used as a dessert variety and is also suitable for juice production and culinary processing.
