The variety is a hybrid of Sterappel and Cox’s Orange Pippin. The tree is characterized by moderate growth vigor and a crown type with branch attachment angles of 60–90 degrees. The variety shows susceptibility to powdery mildew, apple scab, and apple canker, and yield is rated as low.

The fruits are round in shape and reach 65–85 mm in diameter. The primary yellow skin color is complemented by a red blush on 75% of the surface. The flesh is fine-grained, juicy, and crisp. The variety is a dessert type, intended for fresh consumption or processing into mousses.
