The tree of this variety is medium-sized, reaching 3.5–4 meters in height, with a spherical-flattened semi-open crown. The variety is self-pollinating and tolerates pruning well.

Fruits are of medium size, weighing 130–200 g, and have a round or broadly conical shape. The skin is greenish-yellow with a blurred striped red blush; the flesh is cream-colored, juicy, fine-grained, with a sweet-and-sour taste.

Harvesting begins from the second half of August. The variety is intended for fresh consumption and culinary use. No distinctive features of the Molks form compared to the base variety James Grieve are specified in the documentation.
