The tree is of medium vigor with a wide-spreading or dome-shaped crown, the branches of which tend to droop with age. Plant height is usually from 2 to 4 meters, sometimes reaching 5 meters.

Fruits are medium to large in size, round in shape, with smooth waxy skin of yellow-green color and a bright red blush. The flesh is greenish-white, juicy, and density varies from medium to loose. The taste of the fruits is sweet-and-sour with a light fruity aroma.

Harvesting takes place from mid-August to September, and the fruits maintain quality until October. The variety has good winter hardiness, but is susceptible to scab and bitter pit. To obtain a yield, pollinator varieties are required, such as James Grieve, Cox Orange, Ingrid Marie, or Klarapfel.
