The variety was obtained by crossing Skryzhapel with a 1924 hybrid originating from a combination of F2 Malus floribunda, Wealthy, and Jonathan. The variety possesses high winter hardiness and genetic resistance to scab infection.

The fruits belong to the winter ripening group and maintain their quality until February. They are suitable both for fresh consumption and for all types of industrial processing, including the preparation of juices, purees, and jams.
