This tree reaches a height of 4.5 to 7 meters and is used primarily as a specimen plant. In May, the plant blooms profusely with dark pink flowers, which attract pollinating insects.

The fruits of the tree have a yellow color, however, the plant is valued precisely for its decorative properties, and not for the quality characteristics of the produce typical of Malus domestica fruit varieties.
