The tree is low to medium in vigor, reaching a height of 5–6 meters if not trained, and forms a broad crown. The variety is self-sterile; Filippa, Åkerö, Oranie, Transparente Blanche and others are suitable for pollination. The tree enters fruiting early and is prone to abundant yields that require fruit thinning.

Fruits are of small or medium size with yellow-green skin and a red striped blush. The flesh is white, juicy and tender, characterized by a pleasant aroma. The variety is considered autumn or winter; the harvest period falls in September-October, and the fruits can be stored until February.

The variety is demanding regarding growing conditions and develops better on light, well-drained and nutrient-rich soils. The plant is susceptible to scab and canker, especially when grown on heavy clay soils.
