The tree is vigorous and belongs to the spur-type bearing habit. The crown has vertically directed branches and requires training for widening. The variety is self-sterile, blooms in mid-season, and requires the presence of pollinators. It is prone to overcropping, which may lead to alternate bearing and fruit size reduction; therefore, thinning of ovaries is recommended.
Fruits are of medium size, conical in shape. The skin is greenish, covered with an intense dark red or dark purple blush, often with a waxy bloom and white dots. The flesh is white, crisp, juicy, and sweet in taste with vinous notes. The fruits are prone to drop and mechanical damage, have a short shelf life, and become mealy during long-term storage.
The variety possesses resistance to rust and fire blight, and is moderately susceptible to scab. The harvest ripens in September-October. Fruits are used primarily in fresh form and are suitable for culinary processing.
