The rootstock is an M9-type clone and is used for grafting apple varieties in high-density orchards with 1600 to 4000 trees per hectare. In terms of vigor, it is equivalent to the M9 EMLA type.
Trees grafted on this rootstock are characterized by precocious bearing, good fruit set, and high-quality fruit size and coloration. The rootstock has high graft compatibility with varieties.
Due to its shallow root system, trees require the mandatory installation of supports or trellises throughout their life. The rootstock is sensitive to waterlogging and requires regular irrigation.
