The tree is medium-sized, with a wide-spreading, sparse, bowl-shaped crown. The leaves are medium-sized, broad-ovate, light green with a yellowish hue. It enters the bearing stage in the 6–7th year; yields are high with signs of biennial bearing.

Fruits weigh 125–200 g, are round or slightly flattened, with noticeable ribbing. The skin is thin and elastic, the ground color is greenish-yellow, almost entirely covered by a dark red or crimson blush. The flesh is white, fine-grained, juicy, with a sweet-and-sour taste.

The variety is winter hardy and performs best in a cool climate. Susceptibility to scab and fire blight is noted.
