The tree of this variety has a tendency towards vertical pyramidal growth and possesses good branching. The variety shows high resistance to apple scab.

The fruits are large or medium, covered with red color over almost the entire surface. The flesh is white, of a coarse consistency, and has a sour taste with a mild aroma. The apples are suitable for consumption two weeks after harvest and retain their consumer qualities until Christmas.

The variety is winter-hardy, adapted to the conditions of Southern Finland with the possibility of successful cultivation in more northern regions.
