The variety was obtained within the framework of the breeding program of the Institute of Experimental Botany of the Czech Academy of Sciences. The primary role of the variety lies in its use as genetic material for breeding purposes.

In scientific literature, detailed morphological descriptions of this variety as an independent commercial plant are practically absent. The variety should not be confused with the Russian variety «Голубь мира» or the stone fruit species Prunus mira.
