The tree forms an upright spreading crown and is characterized by annual bearing. The variety is a good pollinator due to its long flowering period. Normal development requires approximately 500 hours of winter chilling.
The fruits are large, reaching 65–90 mm, and have a conical shape. The skin is covered with a red blush or stripes over 50–100% of the surface. The flesh is firm, cream-white in color, sweet, and aromatic. When stored at a temperature of -0.5 °C, the fruits keep for up to 6 months.
The variety is susceptible to scab, powdery mildew, and fire blight.
