Normandie blanc belongs to the group of bittersweet cider varieties. The fruits are small to medium-sized, measuring 50–60 mm. Harvesting is usually carried out in the first half of October.

The tree is characterized by high hardiness and is easily trained, which allows it to be used as a pollinator for other varieties. The variety is an old representative of French selection from the Normandy region and is used in cider production.
