Norfolk Pippin is a historical synonym for the variety Adams Pearmain. The tree is characterized as medium-sized or small with a spreading crown, it is resistant to major diseases, including scab, and is well-suited for training.

The fruits are of medium size, with a distinctly conical shape. The skin is yellow-green, covered with an orange-red blush and brownish russeting. The flesh is creamy white, firm and crisp, possessing an aromatic sweet flavor with a nutty undertone.

The variety is a winter type; harvesting is carried out in October, and the consumption period lasts from November to March. The plant is triploid, has sterile pollen, and is prone to biennial bearing, which requires crop load management.
