The tree is characterized by medium to strong growth and forms a wide, often broadly pyramidal crown. The fruits are medium-sized and have a green-yellow color, which turns to pale golden-yellow with a red striped blush upon ripening. The flesh is yellowish-white, juicy, with a rich aromatic and sweet taste, and becomes mealier during storage.
The variety is demanding regarding growing conditions: it requires deep, nutrient-rich soils and prefers a mild climate with high air humidity. Susceptibility to powdery mildew has been noted. Due to its triploidy, the variety is a poor pollen donor, and because of its high maintenance requirements, it is rarely found in commercial pomiculture.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
