Fruits of this variety ripen in mid-September. The variety is characterized by high resistance to apple scab, which makes it recommended for cultivation in organic orchards.

In commercial fruit growing, the tree height is determined by the type of rootstock used. The name "ISK" is not part of the official variety name, but indicates an association with the research institute of pomology, where this variety was used in breeding programs.
