The variety is the result of breeding conducted at the University of Horticulture and Food Industry in Budapest. The genetic parents of the variety are «Egri piros» and «Jonatán».

The fruits have a regular round shape, covered with skin with bright red stripes. The fruit flesh is snow-white, and the taste is characterized as aromatic and tart.

Harvesting begins from the second half of August. The variety is intended for home gardening and organic cultivation, and can also act as a pollinator for other apple varieties.
