The Passe-reine des pommes variety is a classic cider apple variety. The tree is distinguished by vigorous growth and high fertility, with flowering occurring at the end of April.

The fruits are of medium size and spherical shape. The skin is smooth, green in color, with a carmine-red blush on the sunny side. The fruit flavor is classified as bittersweet or very sweet.
