The ornamental apple tree Patricia is a deciduous tree up to 5 meters tall with a dense, spherical crown. The leaves have a bronze shade, the flowers are dark red with a diameter of 3–3.5 cm. The fruits are small, up to 2.5 cm in diameter, dark red in color. The variety is a seedling from open pollination of the variety «Hopa».

The domesticated apple variety Bionda® «Patrizia» is characterized by medium vigor, high yield, and resistance to scab. The fruits are medium-sized, have a green-yellow color at harvest, sometimes with a red blush, and turn light yellow during storage. The taste is sweet and sour, developing after at least 4 weeks of storage.
