The PAULARO tree has a spherical-conical, medium-density crown with drooping scaffold branches. The variety shows a tendency toward biennial bearing and produces abundant yields.

The fruits are round, sometimes slightly flattened, covered with a dark red or carmine blush with a waxy bloom. The creamy-white flesh has a sweet-and-sour taste with notes of wine and strawberry.

The variety has medium winter hardiness. Resistance to powdery mildew and fire blight is rated as strong; resistance to scab and wood diseases is rated as medium.
