The tree grows vigorously at a young age; with the onset of fruiting, growth slows down, reaching medium or large size. The crown is inverted-pyramidal and of medium density. The variety is precocious, entering into fruiting in the 4th–6th year, and is characterized by abundant and regular yields.

The fruits are broad-conical, truncate, weighing 90–140 g. The skin is firm, oily to the touch, with a waxy bloom. The ripening period depends on the region: in southern areas it is classified as an autumn variety, and in more northern areas as a winter variety. The fruits hold firmly to the tree, but are prone to dropping in cases of moisture deficiency or high temperatures.

The variety is demanding of soils: on dry and poor sites, the trees age prematurely, yield decreases, and the fruits become smaller and lose their flavor qualities. It is characterized by low winter hardiness and is susceptible to scab and codling moth infestation.
