The variety is a winter one; fruits are ready for harvest in October and for consumption from November to January, with the possibility of storage until spring. The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and forms a broad crown.

The fruits are large, broadly rounded, often with pronounced ribs. The skin is thin, slightly rough, greenish-yellow in color, sometimes with a light blush. The flesh is yellowish in color and possesses a sweet, wine-sweet, spicy, and aromatic flavor.

The variety is for universal use, suitable for fresh consumption and culinary processing. The plant is moderately resistant to diseases; a susceptibility to spotting and canker is noted, while the variety is less prone to scab and powdery mildew.
