The variety is local, not a breeding hybrid, and was identified during studies of regional biodiversity in the Vouzela municipality. The tree is characterized by vigorous growth, while the variety's productivity is assessed as medium. Fruit ripening times vary from early to medium.

The fruits have an oblate-spherical shape, greenish-white skin with red striped spots and large lenticels. The flesh has a greenish tint, is juicy, and has a medium texture. The sugar content is about 12.8° Brix, and the taste is described as sweet-and-sour. Phenolic compounds, including caffeic acid, were identified in the composition of the fruits.
