The tree has medium vigor and moderate size. The fruits have a characteristic short stalk and resemble the Reineta de Fontanelas variety in appearance. Within the variety, two main subspecies are distinguished, differing in taste characteristics: Pardo Lindo Ácido and Pardo Lindo Doce.

The fruit flesh is sweet and not mealy. Biochemical indicators include a soluble solids content of 17 °Brix and a high concentration of fructose. The apple peel is distinguished by a significant phosphorus content and pronounced antioxidant activity.

The variety is a subject of folk breeding and is considered a promising genetic resource. Due to its organoleptic properties and sugar profile, the fruits are being researched for use in the food industry as a natural sweetener.
