The tree has weak to medium-strong growth, forming a small rounded or spreading crown with dense fruiting spurs. Fruiting begins early and is abundant and regular. The variety is cross-pollinating and sensitive to frost; it poorly tolerates drought and dry soils.

Fruits are medium-sized, rounded or flattened, lemon-yellow in color, often almost entirely covered with a brownish russet bloom. The light yellow flesh is juicy and sweet-tasting. The variety shows good resistance to scab but can be affected by pests.
