The variety is a winter one. Harvest maturity of fruits occurs in October, consumer maturity is from December to April, and under favorable conditions, storage is possible until June. The fruits are medium to large in size, round or conical in shape with characteristic ribs. The skin is rough, often with russeting, yellow-green in color, sometimes with a blush. The light yellow flesh is juicy and aromatic, possesses a wine-sweet taste, but is prone to becoming mealy during prolonged storage.

The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and forms a wide crown. It demonstrates the best yield performance on fertile, moist loamy soils. The variety is characterized by good winter hardiness, but under cool and damp climate conditions, it is susceptible to scab and cancer. The fruits are versatile in use, suitable for both fresh consumption and for processing and baking.
