The tree is characterized by moderate vigor and a spreading crown, fruiting on spurs. Harvesting takes place in mid-September. The variety shows good resistance to scab and powdery mildew, but may be susceptible to apple tree canker.

Fruits are large or very large, round, slightly flattened in shape. The ground color is yellow-green with an orange blush and red stripes. The flesh is cream-colored, soft, moderately juicy, with a balanced flavor. The storage life of the fruits is from 2–3 weeks to two months.
