The origin of the Pomfital 1 variety remains insufficiently studied. Analysis of the pedigree has not allowed for statistical confirmation of its parent forms, making the variety an object of interest within the framework of biodiversity conservation and use as breeding material.

In UPOV documentation, which contains guidelines for the conduct of tests for distinctness, uniformity and stability, the variety is mentioned in the context of the presence of white color in the description of fruit or plant traits. Detailed data on plant height, maturity group, or disease resistance are absent from the publications.
