The variety was obtained by crossing the varieties «Maypole» and «Roter Elstar». The tree has a slender vertical habit 2.5–3.0 meters high and 40–60 cm wide, with short fruit-bearing branches located along the trunk. The plant has high winter hardiness and resistance to scab and powdery mildew.

Fruits are medium-sized, round-shaped, and have yellow-green skin with a bright red blush. The flesh is creamy white, firm, juicy, with a distinct aroma. The variety is self-infertile and requires pollinator varieties with a similar flowering period to obtain a stable yield.
