The variety is primarily a culinary one and is traditionally used for preparing strudel; it is also suitable for fresh consumption and processing into juice. The trees are characterized by moderate or weak growth and a tendency toward alternate bearing, while the flowers possess relative resistance to spring frosts.

The fruits are of medium to large size and have a pale green or yellow color, sometimes with a blush. The flesh is white or yellowish-white, firm, crisp, and juicy, with a sweet and sour taste. The variety is characterized by high keeping quality, with the consumption period for the fruits lasting from November to April–June. The level of resistance to scab and rots is assessed as pronounced.
