The RAXAREGA variety is intended exclusively for cider production and is not used as a dessert variety. In the Asturias cider apple classification system, this variety is assigned to the bittersweet group.
A key morphological feature of the variety is very late flowering. Additional information on agronomic characteristics, such as plant height, fruit quality indicators, or yield, is not currently detailed in public references.
