The RAXILA DULCE variety originates from the Asturias region of Spain and is included in SERIDA research programs for the development of cider pomology. Apples of this variety are intended exclusively for cider production, as the use of dessert varieties for products with a protected designation of origin is prohibited in this region.

The variety is characterized by high efficiency as a pollinator for other apple trees. Studies revealed significant pollen productivity (up to 8056 grains per anther) and high pollen grain viability, exceeding 70%.
