The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and forms a well-branched crown. The variety is characterized by regular bearing, showing less tendency toward biennial bearing compared to a number of other varieties.

The fruits are large or very large, round, and slightly flattened in shape. The ground color is matte green, turning yellow upon ripening, with a diffused carmine-red blush and possible russeting of the skin. The flesh is yellowish-white, fine-grained, firm, juicy, and crisp, with a spicy aroma.

Ripening times are classified as late summer or autumn-winter. The variety shows resistance to scab, although in some cases, the possibility of fruit infection by this disease is noted.
